It is great for a non-rower
Value: I used this at the gym. Better than most, if not all, the rowing machines designed for the general public. But if you are a serious athlete you would be served better by the ergs manufactured for rowers.
1. The display/programs are not oriented towards the serious rower.
2. Although quieter, I am not a big fan of the magnetic resistance because unlike air/water resistance, it requires tinkering to get the best resistance for the intended piece. (In rowing, power output varies with velocity cubed which means a slight decrease in velocity is a large decrease in power output. If you go out a little hard or a little soft, your body will make the adjustment for you. The magnetic resistance makes this machine less forgiving.)
(3. I'm also not thrilled by the foot placement, but it might just be from what I am used to)
Notwithstanding, it is a great machine for the general public. Rowing gives you an excellent workout. And this machine is far better than most out there. It will challenge you and get you in great shape. I would recommend this machine to any of my non-rowing friends. -
Very Nice machine!
Value: I just received it and it took less than 1 hour to assemble taking my time. Very straight forward to assemble. After using a few times - the rower is very sturdy and does not sway or give at all. I can tell it is very solidly built. Believe me I have purchased equipment previously and can tell the difference. That is why I purchased this machine because of the weight capacity - especially since I weigh 300lbs. So far very pleased!

Value: I use my Rower twice a day. It's very well thought through [...]Workmanship and quality materials are what struck me immediately. The action is beyond smooth and it is absolutely quiet.I would highly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed!!

Way beyond my expectations.......
Value: I've been using this machine for about a month now and all I can say is that this thing really gets your heart pumping. The presets are more than challenging and there's plenty of variable resistance to keep it interesting. It's quiet, smooth, all the things it claimed to be. About the only drawback is the size. This is a substantial machine, so I'd have to say make sure you have the space to set it up or store it, but aside from that I'd say by all means spend the few extra bucks and buy this rower.

It was easy to assemble, and easy to use. I was also surprised at how quiet it is.

Fantastic Value
Value: I've been plagued with back and shoulder issues for months. Since that time, I've been looking for a cardio and strength routine that I could do without worsening my aches and pains. The LifeCore Fitness R100 Rower is the answer. Since getting this machine I've used it 3-4 time a week and love it. If you keep form (this is important), I don't experience any pain and I get a great total body workout. The quality of the machine and the exceptional features make this a real value. I like the interval training and heartrate programming options. This will be a machine I use for years to come.

EVERYTHING AND MORE!!
Value: This rower is easy to assemble and even easier to use. Lots of motivating programs with choices to challenge any level of fitness. While it does take up some space for use, it is easy to fold and put away. This is much more entertaining than a treadmill and not the pounding on my joints. A well built machine. Looking forward to years of use, not to mention an awesome warranty to back it up.

Nothing else compares
Value: When I finally found a vendor that carried this rowing machine, I realized that I wasted much time visiting other fitness equipment vendors who did not carry this machine. No other rowing machine that I have tried compares to the performance and durability of this rowing machine. Length wise, the machine may be a bit longer than its competitors, but it's the best for my 6ft 7inch frame. I have had this machine for 2 years and it still performs the same as new. Granted, the display had to be replaced soon after my purchase, but the manufacturer promptly replaced it free of charge and expeditiously. It is well worth the cost.

awesome workout!
Value: We love, love, love our new LifeCORE rowing machine. It is such a fun and exhilerating way to exercise that we each stay on it longer than I ever thought we would. The work out is awesome. I remember my exercise physiology teacher saying that rowing and/or cross country skiing are the best ways to exercise. We love our LifeCORE rower more than a product that cost almost 4 times as much. The workout is smooth and really effective!!! Thank you for another excellent LifeCORE product. We also own a LifeCORE stationary bike. The rower is even more fun.

Cardio at its best
Value: At 45 I've been a gym rat for years. I just purchased this rower and canceled my membership. this machine will give you the best cardio & full body workout in 30 min. My back & Lats have gotten ripped in 2 months. i use this machine every other day for 30 min. and it will kick your butt ( try 6000 meters in 30 min.) My opinion no other cardio machine comes close to the over all workout this rower gives.

Value: I really like this rower. I originally got it just to pump up my upper body and build up some endurance but after using it for a few months I've really noticed the tone overall in my body.

Value: Sirs, I just got my r100apm rower today. I can for sure say without reservation that this rower was the best design and very easy to put together. it went together like a glove. this machine is just simply fantastic. this is by far the best machine I have ever bought. kuddos to lifecore for this machine and user friendly. I just got done giving it a good work out and man this machine kicks tail.my heart rate got up fast and the thing about this machine is it is fun to use.....thanks again.

My LC-R100 rower review
Value: My LC-R100 rower is now about two years old and has held up very well against both very heavy usage and a heavy user. The fact that the rower is still steadily used is testimony to its construction and performance, and the results it produces. I have recently experienced the need for minor repairs and was very pleased with the ease and quickness of getting the replacement part. Thank you - it is a pleasure to deal with a company providing quality products and superior service. The only thing that gets to me is that the pacer boat never lets up - that guy is tough.

Dear Lifecore,
I had been looking for something to help me get in shape. I’ve done bikes, treadmills and elliptical machines in the past but I always got bored. Then I came across one of your LifeCore rowers at a friend’s house. I felt kind of silly, but I asked her if I could try it. I really liked the smooth motion and the awesome burn in both my legs and arms, so the next day I hopped on the web and purchased the R100. It’s the best piece of fitness equipment I’ve ever owned. I can use it for 15 minutes and it feels like I’ve done an hour on the treadmill. Plus it’s not boring since I’m always using my upper and lower body. Thanks again for making such a great machine!
