Good quality
Value: Rowing has always been a main staple activity for me at the gym, and I've used a lot of different rowers over the years. This one has good craftsmanship and quality materials. It's operation is smooth, balanced and steady. There's only one thing I'm disappointed about, and that is the position of the footrests relative to the seat. I think it is a major design flaw to have the seat significantly higher than the foot rests. All the serious rowers I've used have had the seat height almost at the same level as the footpegs. In fact, even the little pictogram of the rower shown on the computer display of THIS rower shows the rower sitting low (ie on the floor of the boat) with the feet at the same level as his/her seat. Anyways, I'm nitpicking.

Hard Seat
Value: The rower works extremely well, but the seat is quite uncomfortable for a 30 minute workout.

Good Cross Training Alternative
Value: I just did my first workout and my first impression was good. It seemed smooth yet got a pretty good low impact workout in 40 min. Tired

Great rowing machine
Value: I had three cervical spine surgeries and my rowing machine is helping me get back to a good fitness level. I love the different levels and programs available because of the flexibility they afford me. It was easy to assemble, even for me, a female who lives alone. This is a great rowing machine and I love rowing machines!!!

Very Impressive.
Value: Very Impressive. It is a nice surprise to row this machine. It's family freindly with a lot of nice options. Its nice to have the convenience of having a home rower as good or better than the one at the gym. Its turning all of us into everyday rowers.
Great job.
